In order to increase the efficiency of preventive measures against COVID-19, as of today, 9 September, 14:00, further restrictions have been introduced in the entire territory of the House of Parliament including the Library of Parliament.
As part of the new guidelines, the on-duty member of the Parliamentary Guard measures the body temperature of all visitors prior to their admission into the building, using a contactless thermometer. If the value exceeds 37.2°C, the admission shall be denied. The measured values are not stored in any way, there is no data handling during the process.
Prior to entering library spaces, visitors are required to sanitize their hands at the contactless sanitizing stations at the entrance.
Also, visitors are required to wear masks covering both nose and mouth during entering, leaving and staying in the library, except when working at library desks and consuming meals at the cafeteria.
