Political caricature at its best - The life and times of Harry Furniss

Harry Furniss (26 March 1854 – 14 January 1925) was one of the most acclaimed and beloved political publicists, caricaturists and illustrators of the Victorian era. He started working for the Illustrated London News but his drawings were widely published elsewhere, too: in The Pall Mall Gazette, The Sketch, The Graphic or The Windsor Magazine among others. Besides, he was a fairly successful and popular illustrator of books producing graphic illustrations for literary works by well-known authors of the time, such as Lewis Caroll or Charles Dickens.
