The Library of Parliament, as a parliamentary library has systematically been collecting all the documents created and released by the Hungarian National Assembly as well as secondary literature related to Hungarian parliamentarism and parliamentary history since the beginning. These primary and secondary parliamentary sources together compose the holdings of the Hungarian Parliamentary Collection formally established in 1962. Our readers regularly ask for the assistance of our reference librarians with most complex problems related to parliamentary history, evolution of electoral districts, life and career of members of parliament or the course of parliamentary debates on decisive bills. In this article we provide a selection of recurring types of enquiries we encounter at the Hungarian Parliamentary Collection.
