The content of courses and seminars held by The Hague Academy of International Law has been published annually – in either English or French – under the title "Recueil des cours: collected courses of the Hague Academy of International Law" since the founding of this prestigious legal education institution. More than 370 volumes of the publication has already been issued since the beginning, though its publication was suspended between 1939-47.

Regni Hungariae et Transilvaniae, ac Partium Eidem Subjectarum... published in 1698 has recently been purchased by the Library of the Hungarian Parliament at an auction. The book was in extremely poor state, therefore underwent a 120-day complex restoration process.

Published on - 2019-11-19 10:57:00On 6 November, the Directorate for Cultural Affairs at the Office of the National Assembly held a formal naming and a joint award ceremony in honour of Miklós Nagy, the renowned librarian and former director of the Library of the Hungarian Parliament. At the event, one of the Parliament's rooms historically belonging to the library was officially named Nagy Miklós Room and simultaneously, the annual Nagy Miklós Prize – founded by the Speaker of the House – was also awarded to Éva Varga, President of the Sub-Carpathian Hungarian Librarians' Association.
